冯梦龙“三言"中“梦”的含义 = The meaning of “dream” in “San Yan” by Feng Menglong

《喻世明言》、《醒世恒言》和《警世通言》，简称“三言”，是明代著名的短篇小说集。这三部由冯梦龙（公元1574-1646）编纂的小说集不只在内容上包罗万象，而且在艺术成就方面也达到了新高。 “三言”中有不少描写梦境的篇章。其中，代表传递神意的梦和具预兆性的梦各占了很大的比例。此外，中国古代的梦魂观念在小说中也显而易见。另一些较为显著的梦也包括托梦类、因果报应类，和投生类。“三言”中的梦在很大的程度上与中国古代的梦文化有关。但是，现代西方学者对于梦的新探索与观念，也能使我们对“三言”中的梦有新的诠释。本文将以“三言”中的梦境为分析对象，从中探悉其含义。这也有助于透视“三言”中的人物心态，及理解冯梦龙的创作宗旨与明代的社会风貌。“Yu Shi Ming Yan”， “Xing Shi Heng Yan” and “Jing Shi Tong Yan”, usually abbreviated to “San Yan”, are representatives of the collation of short stories in the Ming Dynasty. “San Yan” is compiled by Feng Menglong (1574-1646). The stories were selected extensively and its literary achievement has reached a new height. “San Yan” has many stories that involve dreams. Among these examples, those dreams which act as a medium for conveying the god’s message and those predictive dreams form the majority. Furthermore, Chinese ancient belief on one’s soul will leave his body while dreaming is also prevalent in “San Yan”. Other types of dreams include those which involve conveying messages, karma and reincarnation. The dreams in “San Yan” are very much related to Chinese’s ancient culture on dream. However, the modern western scholars’ ideology on dreams brings in new interpretation of dream. This thesis will analyse the dreams in “San Yan” and to ascertain the meaning of them. This will also help in understanding the mentality of the characters in “San Yan”, Feng Menglong’s ideology and the social issues in the Ming Dynasty.Bachelor of Art
